Is Trump Losing Base Support?

The question as to President Trumps losing his base due to his lack of following thru on his Campaign Promises.

President Trump promised his supporters he’d End DACA upon taking office and begin Deporting All Illegals not just those his  Liberal Staff considers to be Criminals, and now 6 months later kicking the Political Can down the Road with no End is Sight as Congress is being asked to Act with the 2018 Election Cycle coming up, what will his Base Do?  His base believed President Trump said and meant shortly after taking the Oath of Office, and not 6 months later kicking the Political Can Down the Road to the GOP RINOs who run Congress and are anxious to give Amnesty to All Illegals within the Borders, and yes this will include I believe those who also over stayed Visas.

I’ve been following closely reports I receive from other supporters in AZ and elsewhere as to their displeasure at his lack of following thru on the promises he made while campaigning where he also stated I’m not a Politician so you can trust me.  It now appears President Trump doesn’t have the Political Courage to even make the announcement himself but is using AG Sessions who he’s spoken out against to be the Front Man in making the Announcement and thereby escapes making the Announcement of Surrendering to the 800.000 Dreamers himself as still no mention of truly enforcing the Existing Laws in the case of Dreamers, this isn’t leadership as he passes the Buck to Sessions rather than having to Choke on his own Words of the Campaign, once again Promises Made & Promises Broken.

The lack of following thru and adding to that his dancing around the issue of all Illegals by moving it to just deporting Criminal Illegals either demonstrates his lack of knowledge of what a Criminal is or just moving back to the Left side where his Daughter & Son in Law are and have always been along with most of his White House Staff, they believe in almost every Social Justice Issue and especially in Amnesty for the Children.

If President Trump believes his Base Support won’t erode, then he’s truly not a good reader of just how many of them supported him because of his stand on the Illegals and Border Security.  The lack of following thru on his Promises may not cost him the states he won by large margins, however those he won by single digits such as: Wisconsin won by less than 1% & 10 Electoral Votes, Michigan less than 1/2% & 16 Electoral Votes, Pennsylvania less than 1% & 20 Electoral Votes, this totals 46 Electoral Votes minus those from the 306 and Trump loses the Election, this doesn’t include a swing state with low percentages as well like Florida won by 1.20% & 29 Electoral Votes.

The swing of just a small number of votes or a higher turnout of Democrats will bring us right back to another Total Socialist in the White House along with a mostly Big Government Congress no matter the Party, as recently demonstrated by the failure of the GOP to End Obama Care and I also don’t believe they’ll secure our borders or give us meaningful Tax Reforms, as most are in the pockets of Big Business and the Chamber of Commerce who want Illegals here now and forever.

The Swamp Managers don’t want a WALL as they know once its’ built you can’t take it down, whereas with extra guards, technology etc. that can be changed quickly and most won’t even know it’s happened to them, and the Lie they tell about how much Illegals contribute to the Economy is mostly never exposed by anyone in the Media, just check the #’s Link: http://vanscrossroads.com/2017/03/illegals-cost-us-citizens-billion/.

I’m hoping all of you will contact the White House by Calling: 202-456-1111 or the Comment Line: 201-456-1414, and let them know what you think of the back tracking and not doing what was Promised to the American Voters to gain their Support & Votes.
God Bless You All; Clair VAN Steenwyk

Clair VAN Steenwyk I hope you read the Article as this neither supports the Illegals and shines some light on what Pres. Trump isn’t doing.

Jody Nalty Yes I am reading it sad how every time a person is elected they start doing the opposite of what they promise to do and a lot of it is they are paid off to turn away from doing what is right for the Americans

Clair VAN Steenwyk Jody Nalty Pres. Trump wan’t paid off, he just understood the need for many Americans to believe they had an ally and knew if he picked the right issues he’d do well, although he never expected to win and now that he has can’t get his people thru committees and some who helped him now have better jobs than ever for doing nothing more than putting up signs and attending meetings, go figure.

Jody Nalty True I still can no0t believe out of all the Americans that the Voting came down to Trump and Hillary I really thought America could have done Better and I thought Trump was a Better choice than Hillary but I am beginning to wonder now what the right choice is because every election they all make the Promises of hope and as soon as they are elected that all changes and they all go after the Middle class like there is no tomorrow I never thought I would see America change the way it has and our U.S. History get Taken away and Changed to suit People that do not know what the history of America is and was.

Clair VAN Steenwyk It’s called the Sal Alinsky method and the Socialists love it and use it very effectively as the so called under privileged who weren’t taught history or civics in our government run Socialist School Systems Nationwide have changed it in the classroom and the press and shaped it so we now have the New Story of America and since the So Called Conservatives in DC and States have gone along with this for Decades making themselves rich while the public fiddled around with their toys and hobbies so as not to have to pay attention to real life.

Steve Larsen I think Trump made a smart move although he should have made the announcement himself. If Congress wants to pass some sort of “Dream Act” Trump should at least consider it. I also think targeting criminal illegals FIRST is the right thing to do but at the same time we need to end the policy of catch and release. When an illegal is apprehended they should be deported or held for a immigration hearing. When somebody who has already ignored one or more immigration hearings in the past is apprehended AND RELEASED AGAIN it makes my blood boil. Classic definition of insanity.

Clair VAN Steenwyk It’s criminal to enter illegally, fake IDs, Not paying taxes and more, we’ll now have thanks to the new definition of who to deport over 20 million illegals in our nation and the promise made in the campaign was not worth the breath it took to make it.

Steve Larsen Oh I agree they are criminals BUT I mean crimes in addition to their immigration violations. I also don’t believe it is possible to deport all 20 million. There are in fact some jobs we need them for but we need to fix the process to make it easier, no, let’s make it harder for companies to utilize illegal labor. It’s already pretty easy to bring in migrant workers legally. Some businesses just don’t want to pay the added expenses of having to comply with employment rules for legal workers.

Clair VAN Steenwyk Steve Larsen Tax Evasion, Fake ID’s, collecting welfare with them and more, not robbing banks, however if I or you did this we’d be considered criminals, recall Capone went to prison for not paying taxes but illegals go to Rallies to protest against US.

Steve Larsen I would make welfare fraud or identity theft a disqualifying factor. Tax evasion…. Well as much as I despise tax cheats in this case I think making them pay back taxes would be OK with me. Also toss them out for voting fraud as well.

Clair VAN Steenwyk Steve Larsen ; This means they must almost all be deported as many of the so called Dreamers used Fake ID to get into schools and for free medical care and more, but they’ll never enforce these laws except of course in the case of American Citizens who…See More
Steve Larsen In a perfect world I’d deport them all but I have mixed feelings about the people who were brought here when they were a kid. Given the state of DC politics I think the best we can hope for is not giving them citizenship. Hell, we got a fight on our hands just to build walls and fencing to keep the drug and human smugglers out.

Clair VAN Steenwyk to Steve Larsen Feelings, well if an American is caught committing a crime and convicted he not only goes to jail but his family loses everything they benefited from as a result of the crime, so some have ended up in the streets with nothing more than clothes on their backs and a suitcase but then they’re Americans and can’t have one standard of law for others. Our laws aren’t made up on how we feel or at least aren’t suppose to and if that’s what we’ve sunk to then I’m sorry the Generations of the future will live in a 3rd world country but certain they’ll be happy knowing we had a shot at fixing it but didn’t have the Courage of Our Founders.

Steve Larsen Well we do allow refugees to come here for a variety of reasons (some legit, some bullshit) so I think it is justifiable to do something for the kids. Oh, an I would not make this an open ended deal either. The kids had to have been brought here by a date, say prior to 2012 when 0bama’s BS gave false hope and lead to a flood if kids pouring in unaccompanied.

Clair VAN Steenwyk This started with Reagan and he even said his Amnesty was a bad mistake but no one talks about him making that statement, Amnesty by any name is Amnesty and it will be blanket of course to make everyone feel good they’ll deport just the Criminals, this is and has been nothing more than Political Theater for the Sheep to stall until they wore them all down and looks like it’s worked but for me never will I vote or support anyone who has lied about their real intentions and that means almost anyone in office at present and a good number of those who’ve run.

Steve Larsen I don’t favor full blown amnesty. I’d give them a green card and say 10 years to get citizenship by following the same procedure folks in their country or origin have to, FROM THE BACK OF THE LINE! Reagan was right about being wrong. His amnesty is a major factor in the mess we have now.

Clair VAN Steenwyk Amnesty is Amnesty, as you said you don’t support it however that’s what you’re doing and for those who choose not to become citizens what happens to them as most of the adults won’t and according to a very liberal understanding of what a Citizen is they claim Anchor Babies already are therefore all the children born to them don’t need to apply, this is as I believe a Con perpetrated on the American People and will damage the country even more than it already has.

Steve Larsen We need to have that anchor baby BS get back in front of the Supreme Court. The original decision used the Wong Kim Ark case as precedent which was highly inappropriate. The Chinese workers were not in this country illegally. End of story, doesn’t not apply to illegals.

Clair VAN Steenwyk The Supreme Court is a joke, recall it gave us Government Ins. as unconstitutional as you get and done by the so called constitutional chief justice.

Steve Larsen Roberts has been a disappointment to be sure. I still can’t believe his “reasoning” behind his obama care decision…

Clair VAN Steenwyk Supreme Court is bought & paid for as our the other two branches of the federal gov. and most states, counties and cities as well.

Clair VAN Steenwyk Steve Larsen Won’t matter where you go, as once we’re gone as a Republic the World as we know it is over, as an Australian called in to one of my shows one day and told me how worried he was about the US and said if you’re gone so are we, no safe havens once we totally surrender, so if you win find some people to support for office you can trust.

Steve Larsen I think, or at least hope we are reaching the point where people are waking up. I forget how many years it’s been for sure but I think Reagan was the last president to be elected by a majority of eligible voters. Too many people leave it to others to decide the direction the government will move the country.

Clair VAN Steenwyk Steve Larsen I believe unfortunately some who’ve woken up as you say are actually part of the problem as I met a number of them and they told me this is the 1st time they’ve ever voted, this was at Trump Rallies, I also believe most know almost or nothing about issues and were strictly voting for a personality who said what they wanted to hear and even now don’t realize what he’s done and what the congress is going to do to us, this isn’t a good thing for our Nation.

Clair VAN Steenwyk We don’t have time to educate them and many don’t want to be, they just wanted to vote and see how it worked out and if they felt they were misled wouldn’t vote again, and they told me this is much stronger language than I’d used.

Steve Larsen It isn’t going to change overnight. It will get worse before it gets better too, if we don’t let the whole thing slip between our fingers.
